M.I.A. - Bad Girls

I don't know why buy I dig this tune. It's no "Swagger Like Us" or "Paper Planes" but it is still hella catchy. I think the South East Asian influence on her beats makes it appealing to me. Her style is so weird I enjoy it.

The Weekend - Montreal

The Weekend is making some huge waves in the R&B industry. His Echoes of Silence mixtape was amazing and I still have it on high rotation. "Montreal" was one of my favorite songs off of the mixtape and now there is an unofficial video out and I can't complain. Download the mixtape below.

Joell Ortiz - I Want It All ft. Iffy The Bad Man

I don't mind hearing some new Joell ever. Arguably the most fierce MC from  the Slaughterhouse gang always goes hard on all his tracks and this is no different. I can't wait to hear what he can deliever when he starts to hook up more with Eminem and the rest of the Aftermath crew. Be on the lookout for Joell and the rest of Slaughterhouse!

J. Pinder - Dream Killers ft. Mistah F.A.B.

I can listen to music like this all day everyday. This is one of those tracks that hits home with most people. I'm looking forward to listening to more songs from Mistah F.A.B.
 

Pretty Lights - It's Tricky (Run DMC remix)

I just discovered Pretty Lights, this guy is fuckin' dope! He has done some really sweet remixes of classic hip-hop and rock n' roll beats. Definitely going to keep listening to his music as much as I can. Make sure to hit the jump and check out some of his other work.

These have to be one of these best commercials I have ever seen. "Where do you go from the top? You go over the top. Schoolboy Q - Nightmare on Figg St. Video

Schoolboy Q's Habits and Contradictions has been out of a bit now and it is amazing. TDE really makes original and very creative music. This track samples Jay-Z and Kanye's "Niggas in Paris" and it is done perfectly. Other singles off this album include "Hands on the Wheel" and "Druggys With Hoes pt 2". Make sure you go get your copy of HnC asap!

John Legend - Tonight (Best You Ever Had) ft. Ludacris

It's been a while since I've heard some good potion music. Definitely going to add this John Legend jam to sex playlist, it`s just so damn catchy.

Suspect with Crowbar Shot Outside Carls Jr Monterey Park

For things like this I don't even know what to say. Sure the guy attacked the cop but it was a crowbar. The cop should of shot to injure not to kill. Plus the amount of shots that went off is unreal. It's just another case of excessive force by a cop but nothing will probably happen to the cop. That's how I see it, what do you guys think?

The latest from TDE is Schoolboy Q's Habits & Contradictions which dropped on Friday. I finally got my chance to listen to the album and I really enjoy it. TDE has seen success first Kendrick Lamar and then Jay Rock and now it's Q's time to shine and he really does. Make sure you go and get a copy off of iTunes! This track samples 'Pursuit of Happiness' from Kid Cudi.

John Anthony - Habits

I never heard of John Anthony before this song, he is part of the Diemon crew.  The flow and storytelling in this song is really good and it kind of has an 'old school' feel to it. "Habits" is on high rotation for me.
