Childish Gambino - Silk Pillows ft Beck

Wow! Another great track released by Childish Gambino. His new EP might actually be my most anitcipated project for the whole summer. First we got "Tell Me" then "We Ain't Them" with Das Racist. Then just last week we got "Black Faces" with Nipsey Hu$$le and now we get "Silk Pillows" with Beck. Damn this guy has a large range of musical influences.
 

Dom Kennedy - My Type Of Party

Dom has been featured on a bunch of tracks but this is the first song of his own I've heard and it is dope. The beat is so trippy I enjoy it. If he's good enough to collaborate with Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar and Schooboy Q he is good enough for me.
 

Curren$y - Jet Life ft. Big K.R.I.T and Wiz Khalifa

Curren$y's Stoned Immaculate drops next week on June 5th and this song has the biggest collaboration for the album. The song is really good, we get the memorable pairing of Wiz and Curren$y plus the addition of Krit on the hook was great. I'm definitely going to buy this album when it comes out!

Childish Gambino - Black Faces ft. Nipsey Hussle

Holy fuck Donald Glover is going hard! His variety of sound keeps increasing, I really like the way he attacks this beat which is made by Boi-1da. Childish Gambino enlists Nipsey Hussle on this track too and he fits perfectly. This is the 2nd track off of Glover's new mixtape coming soon.

Chamillionaire - Tellaheaux Goodbye

Chamillionaire is still on of the best artists in the hip-hop game. His style and flow are amazing but we need to hear a full project soon. C'mon Cham release some shit!

Childish Gambino - Tell Me ft. Heems

My mind has just exploded! I friggen' love this combination of Childish Gambino and Heems from Das Racist. These two need to keep working together and they should add the rest of Das Racist too. Donald has let go a bunch of new tracks lately which means we are going to have a new project from Childish Gambino soon and I cannot wait. Don't sleep on this one!

Lisa Ray Is Approved!

Lisa Ray was born in Toronto and is a Hindu Bengali and Polish mixed beauty. She has to be Canada's official cougar. Now at the age of 40 she still looks gorgeous and I definitely approve. A few years ago Lisa was diagnosed with white blood cell cancer but through stem cell transplants she is now cancer free and is doing great things. Lisa Ray is now the host of one Canada's most popular shows, Top Chef Canada, on the Food Network. Donald dropped this track last night on twitter while he was venting a lot of things.  The beat is really good and calming, I enjoy it and cannot wait for a new project by Childish Gambino.
 

K'naan - Hurt Me Tomorrow

K'naan's latest single off of his new album Country, God or The Girl sound great. This is the type of song that K'naan is the best at. He is one of the few artists that know how to connect with his audience in a special way.
 

Ab-Soul - Black Lip Bastard remix ft. Kendrick Lamar Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock

Next up in the TDE lineup is Ab-Soul; his project Control System is out tomorrow and I cannot wait! Expect to hear more tracks with his label-mates Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock. This track is definitely off of the new album and it is a great preview of what to expect. Great lyrics, great story and a slightly psychotic tone that I really enjoy.
